Is The Home Depot Military Discount Available Online?
The website’s verification service, SheerID, will ask for details like your name and branch of service and it will request supporting documentation. I don’t recall anything in my contract saying Home Depot or anyone else has to give us a discount. The ones that do are great, but being a Veteran does not give us the right to demand one.

With that said, the new military discount is now done online, and you’re only required to verify your service one time. Lowes has a better plan and applied to your “My Lowes” card your able to get your 10% discount on online orders also. First they say Veterans can get the discount, then they say only service connected veterans can get the discount…..screw home depot! With veteran on it for last six month when I was told Home Depot now offers discount to vets.
I’ve decided to stop shopping at Homedepot – just fed up with the half-heart “we support our military” fake smile BS. I tried to upload my DD214, with SSN numbers blacked out, through my Home Depot account and it was rejected? Makes me wonder if Home Depot partner with a 3rd party to collect and profit from personal veteran data? It is a shame, especially given the politics of the HD founder.
