Many of our residents tell us that life at Wilton Manors Health & Rehabilitation Center is very nice. My friend is in your facility and it has been nothing short of a nightmare for her. Aides that aren’t answering her calls to put her back in bed and now she’s developed a bed sore.
This accreditation goes to centers that demonstrate continuous compliance in providing safe and effective patient and resident care. If you ask them a question, they ignore you, they leave patients unattended. This is the worst place I've ever seen. If you're thinking about placing your loved one here, DON'T. No one answers the phones, nothing happens on the weekends.
Reviews of Wilton Manors Health & Rehab Center
I took pictures and do plan to submit them to the Department of Elder Affairs. I would NOT refer anyone to this facility for any kind of care. It is also useful for patients recovering from surgery. If you are looking for a modest-sized facility, this nursing home fits the bill. Medicare and Medicaid are accepted, and counseling services are also available. The Wilton Manors Health & Rehabilitation Center is classified as a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Aides that are rough with her and bang her already fragile body. A majority of aides that have no bedside manner whatsoever. She has been told by her internist that she would be seeing the DON and a social worker for weeks now. This is unacceptable and I have no idea how you have such good reviews. I live in the North East, but if I had the means to fly down there, things would be very different.

Please note that the pricing above is the average billed to Medicare. (Supplemental Insurance / Medicare Advantage Plans, single or double rooms, etc). My mom is in there and she is getting the worst care. Her hand and foot was swollen and it took the nurse an hour and a half to look at it.

With 147 beds in an old, worn out facility, one would need a lot more maintenance workers to keep it up. Food was frankly inedible at most meals. I had 2 bowls of good soup and 5 acceptable salads during my 15 days. I was fortunate to have family in town that was able to deliver meals to me when the institutional dinner meals were either ice cold, poorly prepared or indistinguishable mush. If you want anything healthy to eat, you won't find it here.

About Wilton Manors Health & Rehabilitation Center
They were supposed to be helping my aunt get strong after her appendix burst. However, every time I was there, she was laying fetal position on her bed or sitting in the wheelchair in front of food that she wasn't eating. I didn't see any sign of anybody being helpful whatsoever. I never saw a change and my aunt never got any stronger, so I would never send anybody there again.

I wouldn't eat it and neither would my aunt. Some RN's and CNA's are repsonsive...others are not. Lack of communication between staff including DR. and patients and their families.

I mostly have had dealings with the Rapid Recovery Unit. The male nurse in RRU that I have had direct dealings with is extremely compassionate and caring . My husband was in the facility for several weeks and much to my surprise the nurse called after we were home for a week to say hello and check up on my husband and myself . It’s not often that they give you some place five stars unless certain things really stand out. I would highly recommend this facility for numerous reasons . Wilton Manors Health & Rehabilitation Center received an overall rating from CMS of 4 stars compared to the FL average of 3.48 and a National average of 3.32.

We chose that place because they had a four out of five stars rating. They are on point, and they are professional. They are helpful, friendly, and very courteous.
